The Hunter Ballroom is our signature grand ballroom, with 15-foot coffered ceilings, wainscoting, and elegant chandelier lighting. The ballroom makes for a stunning grand entrance to your reception. Whether you opt for a casual buffet, chef-attended action stations, or a formal plated meal, our tantalizing menu options please even the most discerning palate with a focus on artfully presented, fresh, seasonal ingredients. As the lights dim and your guests take to the dance floor, there’s nothing left to do but relax, celebrate, and enjoy the company of loved ones as the sound of laughter is carried away on the warm Gulf breeze. It can accommodate as many as 400 guests.

At 3,400 square feet, the Harbor Ballroom features a private pre-function space, and can be divided to accommodate smaller events. With expansive windows that overlook the resort, your guests will enjoy the view in climate-controlled comfort. It can accommodate up to 150 seated guests.

The intimate Cove Ballroom, at 1,000 square feet, enjoys sweeping Gulf views through a wall of windows and will lend an air of sophistication to even the smallest event. It can accommodate up to 50 seated guests.

Our outdoor wedding venues include the Gulf Lawn and the Pool Lawn. The Gulf Lawn features 6,750 square feet of space to celebrate, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the beach. The Pool Lawn includes 2,112 square feet and features stunning views of the waterfall and pool, with space for as up to 125 guests.
Our beach is the most popular ceremony location at Sandpearl Resort – and for good reason. Clearwater Beach continues to garner awards and accolades as one of the premier beaches in the world. Impeccably maintained, with powdery white sand and clear, shallow water, the beach is as versatile as it is beautiful. Smaller ceremonies are held on South Beach, while larger ceremonies can be accommodated on North Beach.
Sandpearl Resort Wedding FAQs
Yes, we require a wedding planner that can either be full planner, partial or month-of-planning. We do not allow day-of-coordinators. We highly recommend selecting a planner off of our recommended vendor list as they have been here many times to help execute successful weddings. If you choose to select someone that is not on our list, they must be approved by your Catering Sales Manager and provide the specific insurance requirements.
We do not offer complimentary guestrooms; however, we are happy to put you in contact with a sales manager who can offer discounted room rate for the bridal suite.
If you choose to hold your ceremony at the Sandpearl, we do require a $1,800 ceremony fee. This fee includes a rehearsal the day before your wedding, preparation of the wedding location, white garden chairs, citrus water station, security and indoor back up space in the event of inclement weather.a
Your wedding coordinator is in charge of all of your miscellaneous decor including setup, breakdown and delivery to the wedding suite at the end of the night.
Yes! We are a dog-friendly resort and there is an additional fee if they stay on property – you may invite your furry friend during your ceremony only. We do require a dog walker or trusted friend or family member to watch over your dog during the ceremony.
No, ceremonies must be paired with a dinner reception through the banquet team. We do not offer wedding events of under 30 people.
Yes we can. Please let your Catering Sales Manager know of any guests that might need special meal accommodations no later than 7 days prior to your wedding.
Outside food and beverage are not permitted; all catering must be provided by Sandpearl Resort. The only exception is wedding cake or desserts, which may be supplied by an approved third-party vendor.
We guarantee an indoor backup location in the event of inclement weather.
At the Sandpearl Resort, we now offer a special promotional code that you and your guest may use when booking rooms through our website. This code allows you to book any of our room types on their own. The rate does fluctuate based on hotel occupancy and availability which means that the discount percentage may change and the minimum length of stay may change as we approach your wedding weekend.
Suite 100 is considered a hotel room and is available to rent at a 2-night minimum stay if the event is held on Gulf Lawn. This room is based on availability and room rates fluctuate throughout the year.
Dates and space are held with a signed contract and deposit. Your contract deposit schedule is based on the ceremony fee, food and beverage minimum plus service charge and tax. A 25% deposit is due at the time of contract signing. 50% of the remaining deposit is due 6 months prior to the event and 25% of the remaining deposit is due 30 days out. Final payment and guest guarantee are due no later than seven days prior to your event.
We do have our Preferred Vendor List for those who need some assistance getting started. These vendors have worked at the Resort many times and are familiar with all of our rules and regulations as it pertains to weddings. If you have a vendor that is not on our list, they must be approved by your Catering Sales Manager as well as have the necessary insurance required by the Resort.
The Resort provides white garden chairs for outside weddings and banquet chairs for indoors, round white linens, white china, glassware, and resort style centerpieces for reception and/or dinner, glass votive candles, stage and indoor dance floor.
Sandpearl Resort does not offer individual tastings, but we do host three grand tastings per year, where all of our couples are invited at once for an opportunity to experience our cuisine and presentation. You are able to have a total of four people attend one tasting.
Yes! Our Bell Staff can deliver your Welcome Bags as your guests arrive for a charge of $5.00 each for generic bags. The bags cannot be passed out at the Front Desk
We would be happy to schedule a rehearsal ceremony a day before the wedding. Your officiant and wedding planner should also be present at this time.
Absolutely! We offer a variety of beautiful locations at Sandpearl Resort for both rehearsal dinners and welcome receptions. We can also accommodate post-wedding brunches, providing a perfect send-off for your guests after a memorable weekend.

While a full gourmet kitchen, dining area, and deluxe bathroom with step-in shower and separate Roman-style tub are certainly fabulous features in their own right, perhaps the most distinct one in your one-bedroom GulfFront Suite is the furnished private balcony. Offering a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach below, it’s the place to sink into an Adirondack chair in one of our plush bathrobes while savoring a glass of wine from the complimentary bottle that came with your room.

As tempting as it may be to stay on your balcony and watch the sun set, you have a dinner reservation at Caretta on the Gulf – the only AAA Four Diamond restaurant on Clearwater Beach. The restaurant features an inviting yet unpretentious atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Dine by candlelight on our famous jumbo lump crab cake before savoring freshly caught Gulf grouper over English pea risotto. Or, feast on ceviche, sushi, and fresh shellfish from our raw bar.
Rehearsal & Welcome Reception
Once your wedding party has arrived and checked in, you’ll run through a ceremony rehearsal before segueing into a welcome reception on the beach. Set directly on the sand, the casual Floribbean buffet comes accented by the tropical sounds of a steel drummer and is topped off with key lime cheesecake and a friendly game of beach volleyball. As the sun sets, you and your partner will be invited to ring the “sunset bell” to alert everyone that nature’s awe-inspiring show is about to begin. Cap it all off with a seat around the beach-based fire pit, a spacious communal area that is a perfect place to raise a glass with a drink from Tate Island Grill, and toast a marshmallow from our provided s’mores kits.
Coffee & a Stroll
After a leisurely breakfast on your private balcony, stroll hand in hand along the beach, which boasts meticulously maintained, super-fine, sugar-white sand (it’s actually raked every morning). You’ll then meet your wedding party at the 12,000-square-foot, seven treatment-room spa for an afternoon of pampering before reconvening in your suite, where your hair stylist and makeup artist will put the finishing touches on your wedding day look.
First Look, Ceremony & Cocktail Hour
Meet your partner by the outside grand staircase that overlooks a trickling fountain for your first look photos before making your way to the Gulf Lawn to say “I do” against the backdrop of the beach and rolling sand dunes.
