Our Florida retreat features a full-service spa with three pools, six restaurants, and 248 spacious suites with private balconies. Plus, thanks to a skybridge, guests enjoy easy access to all the amenities at our “sol mate” property, Opal Sands.

Our seaside-chic suites ranging in layouts from studios to a three-bedroom option. All accommodations offer private balconies for views of the Gulf, while select units even boast wrap-around patios with hot tubs, outdoor showers, and lounge furniture, as well as soaking tubs in master bedrooms and full gourmet kitchens.

Our hotel is conveniently located on Clearwater Beach and a short walk away from the beachfront shopping and dining of the Clearwater Beach Walk.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is about 15 miles from the resort and Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 23 miles from the resort. While this hotel doesn’t provide an airport shuttle, our concierge will be happy to organize transportation for you!

Yes! The full-service Opal Spa is on site. Additionally, the Opal Spa at Opal Sands, is located just across the skybridge. While both locations offer the same treatment menu, products, and exceptional service, the Opal Sol-based spa also features easy access to one of Opal Sol’s beautiful pool decks – available to all spa and resort guests.

We also offer in-room dining 7 a.m.–11 p.m. that can be ordered online. Dining reservations can be made for dinner and are highly recommended.

Yes. Given the buzzy nature of Beach Walk and the all-suite accommodations, Opal Sol is exception suited to family vacation. There are many things to do, including enjoy any of three pools, easy beach access, complimentary bike rentals, programming, and more. The kids will especially love the new retro-inspired ice cream parlor coming to Opal Sol’s street-level shops in late 2025. Local attractions like the Clearwater Beach Aquarium and Baseball Spring Training are just moments away.

No, you do not need to reserve a chair by our pool. Pool chairs at our Clearwater Beach resort are first come, first serve. Poolside cabanas are also available for rent. Please note that the pool is for hotel guests only.

Yes, we offer dry cleaning services Monday through Saturday at Opal Sol

Check into our Clearwater Beach resort is at 4 p.m. and check out is at 11 a.m.

Our resort does not offer rollaways, however we do have cribs, high chairs, and booster seats available upon request.

OPAL gift cards and amenities are available via the links in our footer. Please contact the reservations department at least 24 hours prior to arrival to pay for all or part of a guest’s stay.
