Rooted in more than a century of hospitality, The Asticou’s accommodations blend historic charm with a fresh, understated sensibility – from the 50 light-filled rooms in the Historic Main Building to the 15 tucked-away Harborside Cottages along the water’s edge. Inside the inn, spaces feel classic yet airy, with softened coastal tones, tailored details, and views that shift with the harbor light. Beyond it, the cottages offer a more private, lived-in experience, where mornings begin a little slower and the connection to the coast feels closer. Across every stay, the design is intentional but never overstated – comfortable, timeless, and deeply in tune with its surroundings.

All King guest rooms are located in the main hotel building and are equipped with standard amenities including signature spa-inspired bath amenities and a Nespresso machine as well as custom-designed furniture, local Maine artwork. The Standard View rooms overlook the property grounds and gardens, while the Harbor View rooms offer one of the most scenic accommodations in Northeast Harbor.
