There’s always something happening at Wentworth by the Sea. From New Year’s Day through New Year’s Eve, you’ll find an array of holiday happenings and resort activities perfect to plan a special getaway around.

December 2, 9, 16, and 23: 2:00pm

Ice Sculpture Experience

Join us Saturdays in December at 2:00pm for an ice carving demonstration. While you watch our in-house ice sculptor perform, you’ll enjoy a beer, wine, or signature cocktail along with snacks. Simply add the experience to your reservation after selecting your room type.

Illumination

Tuesday, December 5

5:00pm – 7:00pm

We look forward to Illumination every year. Come kick off the Christmas season with carolers, horse drawn carriage rides with Santa, the Portsmouth High School Marching Band, and holiday crafts and games. On December 5 we will be lighting the tree and gathering around this year’s giant gingerbread house.

Winter Wonderland Brunches & Cookie Decorating

Gather with the family for Sunday brunches with Santa at Wentworth by the Sea this holiday season. After brunch, head over to our cookie decorating class at 3:00 with one of our in-house pastry chefs. Call (603) 373-6566 to reserve your seat at our Winter Wonderland Brunch and don’t forget to lock in your spot in our cookie decorating class. (Please note, that the class and brunch are sold separately).

Holiday Storytime

Gather around the fireplace for holiday story time with our concierge, Mary Carey Foley, and then enjoy dinner at SALT.

Celebrate a quintessential New England Christmas at Wentworth by the Sea complete with coq au vin and prime beef tenderloin. At our Christmas buffet we feature a farm fresh omelet station as well as a raw bar and festive carving station.
