Location
Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, New Hampshire consists of the main historic hotel, the marina suite building, three heated pools (two outdoor- one for the marina suites and another by Latitudes – and one indoor), two hot tubs, two restaurants (Salt, which is open year round, and Latitudes, which is open seasonally), a spa, clay tennis courses, and meeting space.
The marina suites are in a separate building, a few steps from the main hotel overlooking the marina.
The closest airport to the hotel is Portsmouth International Airport at Pease (PSM) about seventeen minutes from the hotel; the next closest are Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Manchester- Boston Regional Airport (MHT), about an hour away.

Quaint downtown Portsmouth and a variety of New Hampshire Seacoast attractions are just a short drive from the hotel

In addition to our seasonal heated outdoor pool, year-round indoor pool, and fitness center, the Wentworth boasts a variety of activities to keep you moving on your next New England getaway. Sip on a beer while playing cornhole, or slip on your sneakers for a match on our outdoor tennis courts.

Wentworth by the Sea’s cancellation policy varies based on room type, stay date and rate type (for instance an Advance Purchase rate has a stricter cancellation policy than most rates). Our deposit and standard cancellation policies are listed here.
Check in at our New Hampshire resort begins at 4pm and check out is at 11am. If you arrive early, we’re happy to store your luggage in a secure area while you enjoy our oceanfront Maine resort until your room is ready!
The resort doesn’t have rollaways, but pack and plays are available.
Yes, our dog friendly New Castle hotel welcomes well-mannered dogs weighing 30lbs or less in the main hotel ground level rooms. Guests bringing dogs will be charged $75 per night, per dog. Click here to read our full pet policy.
