All King- and Two-Queen guest rooms are located in the main hotel building and are equipped with standard amenities including signature bath amenities, an in-room coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, and more. The Standard View rooms overlook the property grounds, gardens, and residential surroundings, while the Water View rooms offer one of the most scenic accommodations in New Castle, overlooking the Piscataqua River, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, or Little Harbor.
One-Bedroom Suites
The One-Bedroom Suites, available in Standard or Water View options, are located in the main hotel building and can accommodate up to three guests, as these rooms feature a sleeper sofa. A cozy sitting area and living room are separate from the King bedroom, making these hotel suites in New Hampshire ideal for extra privacy and a home-away-from-home feel. Some of our One-Bedroom Suites include a fireplace.
Turret Suites
The three iconic Turret Suites of Wentworth by the Sea provide an unforgettable stay among our distinctive New Hampshire accommodations. The bi-level suites can sleep up to three people as they are equipped with a sleeper sofa in the living room that is separate from the King Bedroom. The East, Center, and West Turret each have their own unique character, but all command stunning water views of Little Harbor.
Marina Suites
Located directly on Little Harbor Marina, the townhouse-style Marina Suites come in one- or two-bedroom configurations, and all command stunning waterfront views. Ideal for families and guests seeking suites near Portsmouth, New Hampshire, each suite includes a balcony with rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the morning with a fresh cup of coffee and watching the tide gently lift the stunning sailboats and yachts. The Marina Suites come with their own parking (one spot per suite) and a separate waterfront pool (for guests of these suites only) that offers seasonal food and beverage service. The Marina Suite building is an approximate three-minute walk from the main hotel building.

Opal Paws
Wentworth by the Sea is a dog-friendly hotel in New Hampshire, welcoming well-mannered dogs (max two per room) for a non-refundable fee of $100 per night, per dog. Upon arrival, your pup will receive a complimentary gift bag with waste bags and dental stick treats, plus an Opal Paws dog mat and food and water bowls – yours to keep for a $30 fee.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, dogs must remain leashed in public areas, and housekeeping should only enter when dogs are leashed or crated. Our team will gladly review all pet-friendly areas upon check-in.
