Fall, Florida Style: 5 Things to Do in Port St. Lucie in October & November

Who needs changing leaves when you’ve got waterfront concerts, fall festivals, ghostly history, and beach weather well into November? Here’s what’s worth putting on your Treasure Coast calendar.

Forget the flannel and falling leaves. Fall on Florida’s Treasure Coast comes with its own seasonal traditions: Halloween festivities under the palms, live music along the St. Lucie River, open-air markets, and plenty of opportunities to keep your toes in the sand.

And with Port St. Lucie’s calendar filling up with festivals, concerts, and cultural celebrations, there’s good reason to plan a fall getaway to this stretch of Florida’s Atlantic coast.

From family-friendly Halloween fun to an evening of music by the water, here are five ways to make the most of fall 2026 in and around Port St. Lucie.

1. GET YOUR FALL FESTIVAL FIX AT FALL FUN FEST

October 30–November 1, 2026 | MIDFLORIDA Event Center, Port St. Lucie

says you need crisp temperatures to get into the Halloween spirit? Port St. Lucie’s annual Fall Fun Fest brings three days of carnival rides, live entertainment, food trucks, and seasonal festivities to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. The festivities kick off Friday evening with trick-or-treating along the Street of Treats, followed by performances from Bon Jovi and Journey tribute bands. Saturday keeps the party going with country music, an ‘80s tribute act, and Gypsy Lane, while Sunday offers one final afternoon of carnival fun.

Admission is free, though carnival rides require tickets. Guests are also encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

Insider Tip

If you’re visiting with little ones, Friday’s Street of Treats runs from 6 to 8 p.m. And if your ideal Halloween involves more live music than candy collecting, Saturday’s evening lineup is worth catching.

2. TAKE A WALK ON THE SPOOKY SIDE OF THE TREASURE COAST

October 17, 21 & 22, 2026 | Fort Pierce

History has a way of coming back to haunt you. Especially in downtown Fort Pierce, where the annual Ghosts of Fort Pierce Past Historic Walking Tours bring more than a century of local stories back to life. Now in its 23rd year, this Halloween-season tradition takes visitors on hour-long guided walks through the historic downtown, with costumed characters portraying the people who shaped the city. This year’s themed routes explore everything from Florida’s roaring 1920s land boom and WWII history to the area’s early pioneers and untamed coastline. Equal parts history lesson and spirited stroll, it’s a fun way to get acquainted with Fort Pierce’s colorful past. Tickets are $15, and advanced reservations are required.

Insider Tip

Don’t leave tickets to the last minute. Tours have limited capacity, and advance reservations are required, so be sure to secure your spot ahead of time.

3. CATCH LIVE MUSIC ALONG THE ST. LUCIE RIVER

Live music, food trucks, river views. That’s the winning formula behind River Nights, Port St. Lucie’s free outdoor concert series held on the second Thursday of each month from October through April. The setting? The Event Lawn at The Port District, right along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, where food trucks serve up dinner and live bands provide the soundtrack. On November 12, rock band Shaw Davis & The Black Ties takes the stage from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair, grab a bite, and settle in for an evening of music by the water.

Insider Tip

Free parking is available at Veterans Park at Rivergate and Tom Hooper Park, with a boardwalk connecting visitors to the event lawn.

4. TAKE YOUR TASTE BUDS AROUND THE WORLD AT INTERNATIONAL FEST

Come hungry. Port St. Lucie’s annual International Fest returns November 21, bringing a world of flavors, sounds, and traditions together for one lively evening. This free, family-friendly celebration invites visitors to sample international cuisine, browse a marketplace of vendors, and take in cultural exhibits and live entertainment. Among the musical highlights is The Resolvers, a South Florida band known for its high-energy blend of reggae, funk, and soul. Running from 5 to 9 p.m., it’s a chance to experience a little bit of the world without ever leaving the Treasure Coast.

Insider Tip

Admission is free, so save your spending money for sampling the international food offerings and browsing the vendor marketplace.

5. SPEND A FALL MORNING AT THE FORT PIERCE FARMERS MARKET

A good Saturday morning starts with coffee. An even better one involves coffee, live music, and a waterfront market that’s been a local tradition since 1997. Set along the Indian River Lagoon at Marina Square, the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market is anything but your average produce stand. Sure, you’ll find farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, including a taste of Florida’s fall harvest as early-season citrus begins making its appearance. But there’s also fresh seafood, gourmet cheeses, locally made sauces, jumbo-lump crab cakes, and international eats ranging from Greek to Gambian. Add a rotating lineup of live bands, neighboring arts-and-crafts vendors, and views of the boats bobbing in the marina, and you’ve got a pretty compelling reason to get out of bed early.

Insider Tip

The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. during fall, rain or shine. Free parking is available at the Avenue A Parking Garage, with a complimentary shuttle running every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
