The Immokalee Foundation is a non-profit organization serving the children and young adults of Immokalee, Florida – one of the nation’s largest migrant communities that is part of the Naples-Marco Island metropolitan area. Focused on providing educational opportunities, career development, and life skills, the foundation aims to break the cycle of poverty and offer a pathway to success for its participants. An easy way for your group to support Shy Wolf Sanctuary, one of Naples’s most beloved non-profit organizations, is to book a tour of this private facility, housing rescued exotic and captive-bred wolves, wolf-dogs, and other animals. Want to make a bigger impact? Contact them about potential group volunteer opportunities, including the cleaning of enclosures, enclosure maintenance, animal feeding (you can even pet a few of their gentler residents), educational outings in the community, and more.

Whether you’re interested in navigating mangrove tunnels and mudflats, paddling through the uplands and protected waters of Rookery Bay, or simply observing unique flora and fauna, the Naples region offers a variety of kayak excursions. These experiences provide groups with a distinctive vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of the Gulf of Mexico, while also building unity, connections, and friendships.

Naples is your gateway to Everglades National Park, just 30 minutes away. And one of the best ways for groups to see the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States? By bike – thanks to the park’s flat terrain and well-maintained paths, allowing visitors to cover more ground than traditional hiking. One popular route to consider for your group outing: the Shark Valley Trail, a 15-mile loop that winds through the heart of the Everglades, rife with alligators, wading birds, and perhaps even a Florida panther or bobcat.

Thanks to the Gulf of Florida’s placid waters, Naples is naturally home to a plethora of perfect spots to try your hand – or hone your skills – at paddleboard yoga. Groups not only challenge their balance and core strength (after all, the floating platform adds an extra dimension of difficulty) but also foster teamwork and camaraderie as they support each other in this unique task. Not to mention, it’s a playful way to harmonize mind, body, and nature in a tranquil, open-air setting.

Pure Florida, a local boat cruise operator, and Yoga House Naples join forces to create a unique private charter for your group, known as the Island Yoga Cruise. Combining the adventure of an eco-cruise with mindful moments spent in nature, the offering departs from Naples’s Tin City shops and first cruises to an eight-mile-long unspoiled paradise of Keewaydin Island (about 30 minutes off the coast of Naples). There, your group will enjoy a one-hour yoga class on the beach, followed by a nature walk or shelling. After, you’ll return back to the mainland, but not first without a nature cruise led by the captain and master naturalist.
