The Lucie isn’t just a hotel – it’s the imagined home of a well-traveled collector named Lucie, who spent a lifetime searching the world for beautiful things before discovering her greatest treasure on Hutchinson Island, Florida. It is, after all, called the Treasure Coast for a reason.

After years abroad, Lucie recognized something rare here: a place where coastal beauty, storied history, hidden gems, and unhurried luxury come together naturally. Now said to reside on the hotel’s ninth floor, she shares her favorite discoveries with guests through local recommendations, secret spots, cultural curiosities, and treasured insights collected along the way.

Her now true purpose? Helping visitors experience the destination not as tourists, but as insiders.

Guests often ask about Lucie’s residence on the hotel’s ninth floor. Considering that our building is only eight floors in height, it’s a fair question.

Then again, Lucie has always been known to keep a few secrets.

Whether fact, folklore, or something in between, one thing we know to be absolute: Lucie certainly resides just above the ordinary.
