Collectively, that translates to 478 modern rooms and suites and 106,000 square feet of event space in the form of multiple ballrooms and boardrooms, two open-and-airy pool deck event lawns, a myriad of breakout spaces, and the alternative spaces of our signature dining outlets. With 5,400 square feet to work with, the Event Lawn delivers lively outdoor celebrations where it is set on the edge of the pool deck and framed by the sky, sea, and the resort’s stunning curved façade.

At more than 10,000 square feet in size, the ballroom is the biggest space, which also opens to the spacious pre-function space where floor-to-ceiling windows look out to panoramic views of the gulf. It can also be divided into four smaller rooms for more intimate interactions and discovering your next groundbreaking idea.
Capacity: 30–70 Guests
Totaling a collective 2,100 square feet between them, each of our breakout rooms set the stage for inspiration and are ideal for intimate meetings and other corporate events. Professional services from audiovisual enhancements to delicious catering options from our culinary team are available as well. While each of the rooms accommodate roughly 30 to 36 guests, two of the rooms can be combined to double that number.
With contemporary design, this 500-square-foot space is the perfect venue for intimate brainstorming and discussions.
Adjacent to the pre-function space, two hospitality suites feature soft seating and a balcony terrace for mingling over a drink from the nearby built-in bar. Offering up a collective 1,450 square feet between the two rooms, they are perfect for a small, private VIP session before a big event.

Make Meals for the Residents of Pinellas Hope
Since opening in 2007, this Clearwater homeless shelter has provided 15,000 individuals with a safe living environment, clothing, medical and mental health resources, and three much-needed daily meals. Your group can actively contribute by participating in the meal provider program, which involves preparing breakfasts, lunches, and/or dinners off-site, transporting, then serving to the more than 200 residents of the shelter. It’s a great way to foster a sense of community while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
Help Package Hygiene Kits for Clean the World
Clean the World is a non-profit organization that recycles discarded hotel soaps and hygiene products and distributes them to children and families in need as part of a larger effort to prevent hygiene-related illnesses and deaths. Groups can help assist in their mission by taking part in their Soap Saves Lives program, which provides everything needed to assemble the hygiene kits they distribute. Once completed, groups have the option of returning the kits back to Clean the World or dropping them off at a local Clearwater charity, church, or homeless shelter.

Learn About Local Sea Turtle Nesting Protection Efforts
While your group could simply take a trip to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium – a beloved local non-profit and aquarium dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick and injured marine animals – an even better option is to book an off-site program for one-on-one education. While there are multiple options, a favorite is the organization’s sea turtle nest protection efforts, which are conducted up and down Pinellas County’s coastlines. You’ll learn about the loggerhead sea turtle life cycle, examine their anatomy, and have hands-on time with real turtle shells and skulls.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium also offers educational boat tours that pick up right at the marina of sibling Opal, Sandpearl Resort, to cruise the nearby waters.
