There’s no better way to end a day in Key West than with the iconic Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square. Each evening, locals and visitors gather along the water’s edge to soak in the island’s famous golden-hour glow. But it’s more than just a stunning view; it’s a true community experience. Street performers juggle, dance, and dazzle the crowd, local artisans showcase handmade goods, and musicians provide the soundtrack to a laid-back, joyful atmosphere. With the Gulf as your backdrop and the vibrant spirit of Key West in the air, this nightly ritual is both unforgettable and uniquely local.

Snap a photo at one of Key West’s most iconic landmarks: the Southernmost Point buoy. Painted in bold red, black, and yellow stripes, this colorful concrete marker sits just 90 miles from Cuba and draws visitors from around the world. While the line can get long, the photo op (and the bragging rights) are well worth the wait. Afterward, stroll the surrounding neighborhood’s quiet streets and enjoy a slower, sun-drenched slice of island life.
