Spread out over two floors, our three-bedroom cottages are your home away from home with luxurious perks including well-equipped kitchens, furnished balconies, and of course, breathtaking views.

Our largest offering, our four-bedoom cottages boast spacious living areas, private plunge pools, and fully-stocked kitchen. The patios and balconies are fully furnished with unobstructed oceanfront views.

Sunset Key Cottages is equipped to accommodate mobility accessible needs in the following areas of the resort via self-operating lifts or sloped entryways: main building (via the Opal Spa at Sunset Key Cottages entrance), Latitudes Restaurant, Flippers Pool Bar, the Opal Spa at Sunset Key Cottages, fitness center, tennis courts, the zero entry pool, the dock at Sunset Key Cottages, handicap auto and van parking spaces at Opal Key Resort & Marina, and boat transportation to and from the resort located at the dock at Opal Key Resort & Marina (an accessible boat is available on call between 7:15am – 2:15am. Arrangements can be made for a guest in a wheelchair who requires transport between 2:15 – 7:15am with advance notice. Please contact the hotel direct and we will accommodate).

Sunset Key Cottages is a dog-friendly resort, welcoming well-mannered dogs. Upon your pooch’s arrival, we will set your furry friend up with a gift bag outfitted with waste bags and dental stick treats at no additional charge. A plush Opal Paws dog mat and food and water bowls will also be provided. You may take these items home with you, but please note an additional $30 fee will be added to your bill upon departure.

Guests bringing their canine companions will be charged a non-refundable fee of $100 per night, per dog; maximum two dogs per room. Guests will be responsible for any property damage inadvertently caused by their dogs. We ask that dogs remained leashed at all times when you leave your room. Housekeeping service during your stay should be arranged either when you and your dog are not in the room, or if you are, the dog must be leashed or crated. Please note that dog-friendly room types and location restrictions may apply, including our pool, restaurants, and beach per city ordinance. Upon your arrival, our team members will be delighted to go over the dog-friendly areas of the resort.
