The two Overlook Rooms are adjacent to the Main Lodge. Each offers a comfortable sitting area in front of a wood-burning fireplace, a welcoming king bed, a bathroom with a soaking tub and shower, and a furnished porch. Settle into your Overlook Room and enjoy one of the most peaceful accommodations in Lake Placid, with views of the rolling lawn spilling onto the lake’s serene shores.

Conveniently located just steps down from the Main Lodge, the Lakeside Suites are individually designed, romantic, and lavishly appointed. Each showcases a gorgeous living room with a double-sided, wood-burning fireplace, a separate bedroom with king bed, and a covered balcony with breathtaking views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. These Lake Placid suites also feature deep soaking tubs, separate showers, and double sinks.

The One Bedroom Cabins feel like a private home in the woods. Each boasts its own unique personality as they were individually decorated by different Adirondack craftsmen. Lake View and Lakefront Cabins are available. Our Lakefront One Bedroom Cabins sleep two people in a plush king bed, while the Lake View One Bedroom Cabins can sleep up to four with a king bed and sleeper-sofa in the living area.

Our spacious Two Bedroom Cabins come in King/King bed configurations. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower. The shared living room boasts ample seating space as well as a wood-burning stone fireplace. These cabins on Lake Placid comfortably sleep four and offer a secluded yet luxurious retreat.

Opal Paws

Lake Placid Lodge is a dog-friendly hotel in Lake Placid, welcoming well-mannered dogs (max two per room) for a non-refundable fee of $100 per night, per dog. Upon arrival, your pup will receive a complimentary gift bag with waste bags and dental stick treats, plus an Opal Paws dog mat and food and water bowls – yours to keep for a $30 fee.

We ask that dogs remained leashed at all times when you leave your room. Housekeeping service during your stay should be arranged either when you and your dog are not in the room, or if you are, the dog must be leashed or crated. Please note that dog-friendly room types and location restrictions may apply, including the restaurant and bar. The dog-friendly rooms are restricted to our one- and two-bedroom cabins. Our main lodge rooms, Overlook Rooms, and Lakeside Suites do not allow dogs.
