Somewhere between the North and South Poles, winter takes a decidedly coastal turn…toward the Salt Pole. This season, the bar and lounge at Wentworth by the Sea hosts Salt & Snow, an over-the-top, immersive winter pop-up experience, where twinkling lights, cozy plaids, lambswool throws, and après-sea chic touches set the scene for seasonal cocktails and music.

Whether you come for a date night, drinks with friends, a festive gathering, or simply an excuse to get out of the cold, this is one new winter tradition where ogling isn’t just acceptable – it’s encouraged.

Salt & Snow is open to both the public and hotel guests. No admission required.

The Art of Après-Sea

Pulling off a transformation of this scale takes more than a few string lights. Wentworth by the Sea called in the pros from Hello Tuesday, the Maine-based design house of Krista Stokes, Christy Reid, and Mark Cotto. And does this trio know a thing or two about creating spaces worth staring at – their resume includes the recent reimagining of sibling Opal property The Asticou Hotel, a 2026 Esquire Best New Hotel in the World.
