Ice Sculpture Experience

Join us Saturdays in December at 2:00pm for an ice carving demonstration. While you watch our in-house ice sculptor perform, you’ll enjoy a beer, wine, or signature cocktail along with snacks. Simply add the experience to your reservation after selecting your room type.

Illumination 2024

We look forward to Illumination every year. Come kick off the Christmas season with carolers, horse drawn carriage rides with Santa, the Portsmouth High School Marching Band, and holiday crafts and games. On December 3 we will be lighting the tree and gathering around this year’s giant gingerbread house.

New Year’s Eve Masquerade 2024

Tuesday, December 31

8:00pm – 12:30am

Ring in the New Year at Wentworth by the Sea’s Masquerade ball. Tickets include access to a live DJ dance party, passed hors d’oeurves, and food stations from 8pm-10pm as well as a cash bar from 8pm to midnight, when there will be a balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast.

February & April School Vacations 2025: 2/14-3/1 & 4/18-5/3

Over the February and April school vacations, we have loads of family fun scheduled at Wentworth by the Sea. The Garden Ballroom will become a Rec Room from 9:00am – 9:00pm, complete with giant Jenga, corn hole, board games, and giant Connect 4. We’ll also have movie nights on Friday at Saturday starting at 7:00pm with complimentary popcorn, soft drinks and hot cocoa on offer.

If you need further incentive, we have special holiday offers over 2/14-3/1 and 4/18-5/3.
