In 1993, he joined Jess Jackson to reopen Edmeades in Mendocino and launch Camelot Vineyards in Central California, later overseeing operations in Chile, Argentina, and Australia. Tony O’Rourke’s passion for hospitality spans decades, beginning as a teenage dishwasher in New York and evolving into management roles in beloved restaurants across New York and Vermont. His love of wine is rooted in the joy of pairing culinary creations with thoughtfully chosen bottles, creating a harmony that elevates both. O’Rourke’s connection to Owen Roe and Rocks of Bawn began in 2004, when his first taste sparked a lasting appreciation. Over the years, that admiration deepened into friendship between the O’Reilly and O’Rourke families, often celebrated over shared wine, food, and stories. Today, that bond has grown into a partnership, marking the return of Owen Roe as a family-owned winery, focused on showcasing the exceptional bounty of the Pacific Northwest.
